GrowthAssistant is looking for a Paid Search and Paid Social Specialist for our growth marketing team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google, Bing, and Meta, with a focus on lead generation and key performance targets. Key tasks include analyzing performance, making recommendations, collaborating with internal teams, and conducting ongoing optimizations and experiments to improve efficiency and drive qualified leads.

The Role
- Manage and optimize client’s paid advertising channels on a day to day basis including launching new ads, analyzing performance and making regular adjustments.
- Around 8 campaigns in each channel
- $10K minimum budget monthly
- See and report and see and recommend - but the budget approval will come from the POC but GA should report any trends observed and recommend any action items (based on experience) to improve performance
- Managing a portfolio of paid advertising channels including paid search (Google & Bing) and Paid Social (Meta Ads), in addition to other new channel experiments.
- Develop and maintain reporting for paid advertising channels to measure performance across our lead-generation efforts.
- PowerBI - company level (data engineer who does the integrations)
- Others are on GSheet
- Collaborate with other team members within the client’s organization to develop processes and communicate performance across our paid advertising channels.
- Main POC is Mo, then a POC from the medical client side
- Work with data engineers
- Work with our creative teams (both internal and external), to assist in the development of advertising creatives for your respective channels.
- Optimize and drive towards our key performance goals including lead generation and key efficiency targets including cost per lead.
- Perform regularly scheduled optimizations (bids/budgets, audiences, messaging, creative, modifiers, etc) with a primary focus on increasing ‘qualified leads’ and reducing ‘CPL.’
- Manage an experimentation roadmap for continuous testing and learning; collaborate with designer and copywriter as needed.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis as directed to fix issues or uncover opportunities.
- Utilize customer data to refine audience targeting, ad creatives, and bidding strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on SEM trends and best practices to maximize ad performance.
The Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a strong emphasis working on paid digital channels (Google Ads and Meta) with monthly budgets above $10,000.
- Minimum of 2 years experience - deep knowledge of paid acquisition platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns. Proficiency with Excel/Sheets is a must.
- Hypothesis-driven mindset: you have a proven track record of establishing detailed experiment plans, successfully running experiments and measuring/reporting results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills: you are comfortable articulating strategies to various audiences within the organization; including Execs, partners and peers
- Process driven and continuously look to minimize waste and inefficiencies in your work
- Critical thinker with a bias towards action, with the ability to navigate and adapt to a fast-paced environment, the changing macro-environment and digital marketing landscape
- Proactive, innovative, and eager to experiment with new strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships across the company, driving consensus and owning key decisions for paid channels
- A self-starter who requires limited oversight in a remote work environment and can juggle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work EST (9 AM - 6 PM) - can be flexible within the EST timezone
Nice-to-Have
- CRO Proficiency: Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and conversion rate optimization techniques. Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) is a plus.
- Data Visualization: Experience with dashboarding tools like PowerBI is a plus.
- Emerging Channels: Worked with other paid channels (such as TiktTok, Reddit, CTV etc) and can help expand the client's digital footprint

- Highly inquisitive and analytical: you have experience working with complex data sets and business intelligence tools to identify and analyze data for channel optimizations; experience reporting on performance and surfacing key highlights
- Sound technical competency: you have worked with setting up or managing web pixels, event tracking, product feeds and / or measurement platforms
