In this role, you’ll operate daily in NetSuite, overseeing subscription revenue recognition, deferred revenue, billing alignment, and month-end close activities. You’ll partner closely with senior finance leadership, act as an escalation point for accounting and billing issues, and help ensure financial operations run smoothly across NetSuite, Stripe, CRM, and sales tax platforms.

Salary Range: Starts at $10/hr (PHP 100,000)

The Role
Operate daily in NetSuite to oversee and validate accounting activity, with strong focus on accuracy, controls, and audit readiness.
Oversee revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules for SaaS subscriptions (monthly, quarterly, annual, multi-year).
Review, reconcile, and adjust credit card and bank transactions, ensuring proper coding and sync from AP tools into NetSuite.
Support and execute month-end close activities at a manager/holistic level, including account schedules, variance review, and reconciliations.
Ensure Stripe, CRM, and NetSuite data alignment for subscription billing and payments.
Manage sales tax workflows via Avalara, ensuring correct setup, reporting, and compliance.
Act as a senior escalation point for billing, payment, and accounting inquiries, escalating complex issues with context.
Maintain clean documentation of accounting workflows, controls, and recurring processes.
Support adjacent finance operations as bandwidth allows, e.g., commissions calculations, state registrations, insurance renewals.
The Requirements
3–5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience.
Prior experience in SaaS or subscription-based accounting, including deferred revenue.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles for software companies.
Experience working with Stripe or similar payment platforms.
Exposure to sales tax tools (Avalara or equivalent).
Proven experience supporting month-end close at a senior or manager level.
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (reconciliations, schedules, controls).
Ability to work independently while partnering closely with a CFO-level stakeholder.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Airbase, Bill.com, Ramp, or similar AP tools.
Prior exposure to controller-level responsibilities (audit support, controls, reporting).
