GrowthAssistant is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team and support one of our US-based clients in the software industry. In this role, you’ll help execute SEM campaign setup, monitor, and provide the needed reports to the stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in paid search/search engine marketing and who enjoys digging into data and research to support growth in marketing goals.

Core Tasks:

  • Support SEM campaign setup: keywords, ad copy, and landing pages
  • Conduct keyword and competitor research using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Keyword Planner, etc.
  • Work with regional teams to localize or refine keywords and ad copy
  • Review search terms daily and apply negative keywords
  • Monitor daily spend pacing and report variances
  • Assist with landing page updates and A/B tests
  • Pull and analyze SEM performance data for weekly and monthly reporting

Must-haves:

  • 3 - 4+ years of SEM experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Ads, Ahrefs, SEMRush or a similar tools
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets/Doc (V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong editing skills - client to provide supportive tools (Grammarly, ChatGPT, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a desire to learn
  • Hands-on experience with Google Search Ads
  • Comfortable with spreadsheet-based analysis and formulas
  • Ability to work PST for 4 (of 8) hours per day
  • Recent graveyard shift experience and amenable to work following the U.S. business hours


Nice-to-haves:

  • Basic familiarity with Salesforce reporting
  • Ability to edit or adapt creative assets using Figma (other design tool)
  • Experience with new market SEM launches
  • Experience with landline large budget SEM campaigns


Growth Into:

  • Write a compelling draft SEM ad copy and audit existing ads for performance improvements
  • Optimize Google campaigns based on data trends from ROAS, CTR, CPM, etc., as well as client-provided parameters/guardrails
  • Provide basic insights and trends on core reports - client to provide training

SALARY RANGE: Up to PHP100K/mo (USD9-10.50/hr)
