GrowthAssistant is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist - Paid Ads & Email for our growth marketing team in the US. The ideal candidate will take charge of optimizing ad performance, ensuring strategic alignment across multiple platforms, and using a data-driven approach to help our clients achieve impressive results. This role is primarily focused on paid search (90%) with a secondary component in email marketing (10%), and offers a dynamic opportunity to apply your creativity and expertise in ad management for B2B and B2C clients. The ideal candidate has a background in B2B, is familiar with product subscriptions (SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech), and can adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The Role
- Ad Campaign Management: Launch and optimize Meta and Google ad campaigns from scratch. Use A/B testing to refine ads and ensure business objectives are met.
- Platform-Specific Optimization: Optimize campaigns across Google (Search, Display, Performance Max, etc.) and Meta platforms, using ROAS, CTR, CPM, and other KPIs to drive results.
- Client Collaboration: Recommend best practices and optimizations to clients based on data insights; monitor and report on ad performance, identifying trends and challenges proactively.
- Analytics & Reporting: Build and manage detailed reports in Excel or Google Sheets with advanced formulas, pivot tables, graphs, and charts for daily, weekly, and monthly tracking.
- Content & Creative Testing: Collaborate with teams to test new ad copy and visuals based on audience insights, helping to refine user acquisition strategies.
- Competitive Analysis: Run analysis of competitor ads to inform new campaign strategies that capture and convert target audiences.
- Email Marketing: Run email marketing campaigns on Intercom, organize content, track key metrics, and align design and messaging with paid media efforts.
The Requirements
- 3+ years of Google Ads experience (Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping, Video)
- 1+ year in Meta Ads campaign setup and optimization.
- Skilled in managing and adjusting ad spend budgets within B2B and B2C environments with smaller annual budgets (<$50K).
- Strong understanding of ROAS, CTR, CPM, and other essential paid media KPIs.
- Expertise in understanding Meta and Google ads data and making proactive recommendations to clients on what is and is not working, and then adjusting campaigns & ads accordingly
- Fluent in English, with experience in proactive communication via Slack/IM, email, and video calls.
- B2B expertise with familiarity in SaaS, cybersecurity, and/or fintech sectors.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, familiarity with GA4, and experience with Google and Meta Ads management.
- Able to work CST hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

- Experience with CRM attribution mapping.
- Background in email marketing and creating brand-aligned email content.
- Experience with SEMrush, Intercom, and the ability to create witty, engaging content.
- Experience with product subscription services (SaaS preferred).
