GrowthAssistant is seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Controller e-commerce company. This role is integral to supporting various accounting and financial operations-related tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and have a background in financial operations or accounting.

Salary: Up to Php 95,000 depending on experience

The Requirements:

Must have a valid CPA license
3+ years experience of accounting experience
2+ years of experience working in Quickbooks
Advanced Excel experience (v-lookup, pivot tables and basic formulas)
Basic experience with G-Suite
Has been at their previous company for at least 12+ months
Experience working for a U.S. e-commerce/direct to consumer brands
Can work on the graveyard shift on any US timezone
Has worked in-house and closes the books

The Role:

Manage full cycle AP and ensure that all invoices are recorded
- 10-15 invoices will be manually processed
- Automatic credit card invoices will need to be categorized
Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Various sources of payments, i.e. Paypal, apple pay, etc
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data
Reconcile in Quickbooks
Code invoices with appropriate GL code
Month-end posting of journal entries
Maintain the workbooks of balance sheet accounts on a month-to-month basis
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Perform a profit/loss fluctuation analysis
Overseeing receipts of physical inventory and payments to suppliers
- Tracking payments and inventory quantities to ensure the records are accurate

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Slack and Gmail for internal comms
Experience with reconciling Shopify payments
Familiarity with state taxes across the states they collect taxes from
