GrowthAssistant is seeking a skilled and motivated Venture Capital Analyst. This role focuses on evaluating early-stage startups, performing due diligence, financial modeling, and supporting investment decisions for venture capital firms.

Salary: Up to Php 90,000 depending on experience

The Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong foundation in finance, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analyzing key financial statements
Ability to assess financial performance, identify trends, and evaluate the financial health of businesses through detailed analysis of financial documents.
Proficiency in Excel
Accurate in data entry to maintain and update existing spreadsheets and dashboards
Demonstrated ability to work on financial analysis projects.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proactive and a self-starter

The Role:

Financial Modeling for New Investments: Convert company models into Listen model format to evaluate potential investments, including revenue, margin, profitability, and cash flow to assess the financial health and growth potential of startups. Assist in the analysis of financial data
Due Diligence Support: Conduct financial due diligence, reviewing financial statements, budgets, and financial forecasts of potential investments to ensure accurate representation of the company's performance and potential risks.
Portfolio Monitoring and Performance Tracking: Update and maintain financial models for portfolio companies, incorporating the latest key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, burn rate, and profitability to track performance and identify red flags.
Prepare, maintain, and present financial reports, data entry to update dashboards, and maintain organized accounting records in shared drives
Support investment team projects while providing updates on deliverables to team members
Prepare and update monthly P&L reports for each department, ensuring they're accurate and delivered on time
Maintain an easy-to-read dashboard with key financial data for the executive team.
