The Role:
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and journal entries
- Assist in billing processes, including processing invoices, credits and refunds, and collections
- Collaborate with the finance team to organize financial records and documents
- Problem-solving for unique finance-related customer support issues
- Assist with ad-hoc financial and data entry tasks as needed
The Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or related roles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Previous graveyard experience (from 9pm to 6am Manila Time) in the past 6 months
- Experience with Slack and Gmail as communication tools is preferred
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Can work on the graveyard shift following any US time zone (EST/CST)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with QuickBooks (or other accounting software)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience with Excel / Google Sheets
- Experience working with billing software (Chargebee, Stripe, Recurly, etc.)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
